Job summary

London Borough of Hounslow is seeking a Culture Officer to deliver the Council's culture strategy and partnerships across the borough. You will work with residents, artists and community groups to develop inclusive cultural opportunities and deliver engaging programmes that reflect Hounslow’s diversity.

The role offers opportunities to lead cultural projects, manage partnerships and use marketing and digital channels to boost participation and impact within the community.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the arts, culture or creative industries.
• Ability to manage projects and programmes with attention to detail.
• Experience building relationships and working with diverse partners.
• Skilled in creating engaging content for digital channels.
• Able to use data and insight to understand impact and improve activity.
• Proactive, adaptable and inclusive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cultural projects across the borough, including Summer of Culture.
• Manage programmes from planning through delivery, evaluation and legacy.
• Utilise communications, marketing, digital engagement and audience development to raise participation.
• Collaborate with residents, artists, cultural organisations and community stakeholders.
• Develop skills in project management, partnerships and cultural policy delivery.
