Role Overview:
As a Cultural Projects Coordinator at VCA, you will support the planning and execution of culturally significant events and projects. This role involves assisting in project preparation, conducting site visits, researching venues and talent, and liaising with suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior team members in the development and execution of cultural projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and VCA’s standards.
- Participate in site inspections to assess venue suitability, logistical considerations, and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential venues, artists, and cultural trends relevant to upcoming projects.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and coordinate the delivery of services and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including schedules, budgets, and contact information for stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative directors, producers, and technical staff, to ensure cohesive project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
- A keen interest in arts and culture, with a desire to contribute to meaningful projects.
- Previous experience or internships in event coordination or cultural projects is advantageous.
