Located in the beautiful town of Cardiff-By-The-Sea, Seaside Market has been serving the community since 1985. Have you tried our famous Cardiff Crack Tri-Tip? We’re seeking a Cuisine Clerk to play a key role in delivering delicious and high-quality dishes to our customers. We're on the lookout for friendly individuals who genuinely care about customer satisfaction. If you have a passion for cooking and engaging with people, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service including greeting and assisting customers with their purchases
• Filling, maintaining special orders and party trays
• Operates meat and cheese slicers, oven, fryers, BBQ’s, microwave, cutting tools and other deli equipment
• Assist with food preparation
• Awareness of all cuisine departments items i.e. charcuterie, bakery
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers
• Assist with stocking tasks and maintain store cleanliness
• Follow all safety and health guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Age 18 or older to handle alcoholic beverage transactions (California state law).
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Language and Math Ability: Read, write, and perform basic math accurately.
• Food Handler Certification required. (Available upon hire.)
