Job summary

Assured Data Protection in the UK is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Office of the CTO to shape disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and cloud-native architectures. They will act as a technical advisor to enterprise clients, collaborating with internal teams to deliver robust technology solutions.

The role involves cross‑functional collaboration, guiding strategic initiatives, and driving innovation across managed services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable background in technical roles with experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, or technical consulting.
• Proven track record of engaging with enterprise clients in a technical advisory capacity.
• Experience working with MSPs, system integrators, or technology vendors is preferred.
• Prior experience working in an end-user IT environment would be advantageous.
• Solid understanding of technology financial models and cost optimisation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert and advisor on OCTO-driven projects, providing support in disaster recovery, cyber security, and cloud solutions.
• Engage with enterprise clients to gather requirements, implement and support solutions and optimise service delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
• Support the introduction of new technologies and services by building test environments and proof of concepts.
• Provide technical validation and support for sales efforts, proof-of-value engagements, and solution demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Support, Infrastructure, Development and Security teams to ensure alignment and enhanced customer outcomes.
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams—Services Delivery, Internal IT, and Channel—to foster seamless execution and delivery.
• Share best practices and mentor emerging technical talent within the across involved stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive innovation in existing services.
• Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to ensure solutions remain leading-edge.
