CTO -DeFi- Seed Stage

We are representing a successful investor/entrepreneur who has built and sold companies multiple times. This project is to build a DeFi product company from early stage (already have a prototype). The business is hiring a Tech Lead level candidate to join as CTO. They are aiming to build the first MVP within 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Leadership & Vision: Define and execute the overall technology strategy, aligning it with the company’s vision, business goals, and growth plans.
2. Product Development & Innovation: Lead the development of innovative, scalable, and secure banking products.
3. Team Building & Management
4. Technical Architecture Design
5. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external vendors.
6. Cybersecurity & Risk Management
7. Budget & Resource Management
8. Scalability & Performance: Continuously assess and improve the platform’s scalability, performance, and uptime.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of Fintech/DeFi product experience
• Start-up experience as a founding tech team member from early stages to exit
• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A passion for technology innovation and a deep understanding of the financial services ecosystem within a start-up.
