Overview

QuarterLine, a Planned Systems International (PSI) Company, is currently seeking a CT Technologist to provide ARRT(CT)-certified CT Technologist Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Iowa City Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC 601 Highway 6 West, Iowa City, IA 52246) and ICVAHCS.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure patients are appropriately prepared for procedures, to include obtaining consent prior to beginning any examination.
  • Perform selected radiology examinations and procedures under the supervision of a radiologist.
  • Responsible for evaluating image quality, making initial image observations and forwarding those observations to the supervising radiologist.
  • Adapt examination protocols to improve diagnostic quality.
  • Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that each patient receives quality care while in the radiology department or clinic.
Minimum Requirements
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident.
  • CT-certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
  • At least 6 months of clinical experience.
Additional Information
  • Shift Information:
    • Mon-Fri (0700-1730); 8hr shifts, start time between 7-9am.
  • OnCall and CallBack required
    • OnCall - All nonworking hours, weekends, holidays.
    • CallBack - answer withing 15 minutes, onsite within 60 minutes.
