We are seeking an experienced and motivated CT Superintendent Radiographer to provide operational and clinical leadership within the John Radcliffe CT service. Working across a seven-day service, you will support safe and efficient patient care, coordinate staffing and workload, oversee quality assurance and radiation protection, and contribute to staff training and development. You will be a visible, approachable leader who promotes high professional standards, service improvement and compassionate excellence, The post holder will provide day-to-day operational and clinical leadership for the John Radcliffe CT service, coordinating staffing, workload and patient care across the seven-day service. Key responsibilities include supporting waiting-list delivery, deputising for the CT Modality Manager, overseeing radiation protection and equipment quality assurance, investigating incidents, maintaining policies and procedures, and leading staff induction, competency assessment, appraisals, training and professional development. As CT Superintendent Radiographer, you will provide visible operational, clinical and professional leadership for the John Radcliffe Hospital CT service, supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and compassionate patient care across seven days. You will coordinate staffing, workloads and clinical priorities, support waiting-list performance and deputise for the CT Modality Manager. You will oversee radiation protection, equipment servicing and quality assurance, lead incident investigations and contribute to policy development and service improvement. You will also support staff through induction, competency assessment, appraisal, attendance management, education and professional development, while maintaining your own specialist CT clinical practice.
