Job summary

The Isle of Wight NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 CT Radiographer to join the Community Diagnostic Centre team. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week), based at St. Mary's Hospital, Newport.

You will perform CT scans autonomously and within a multi-professional team, contributing to faster diagnosis and improved patient care. Applicants should have HCPC registration and a radiography qualification.

Qualifications

• Essential: Diploma of College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent.
• Essential: State Registration with the Health & Care Profession Council.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of CT scans autonomously and as part of a multi-professional team.
• Participate in out of hours on-call rota; lone working in certain specialities/times.
• Care for diverse patients including unconscious, uncooperative, incapacitated or with disabilities.
• Provide empathy and emotional support to patients and relatives, including bereaved or traumatised.
