Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS is seeking a Band 6 Radiographer to undertake CT imaging procedures and contribute to high-quality patient care within the CT department. The role involves participating in an out-of-hours rota and on-call duties, with collaboration to optimise workflow and delegation of tasks to the radiography team.

The successful candidate will have a degree/diploma in diagnostic radiography, be HCPC registered, and demonstrate NHS radiography experience.

Qualifications

Degree/diploma in diagnostic radiography is essential.
HCPC registered is required.
Wide range of radiography experience gained from within the NHS.
Cannulation trained is desirable.
CT experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

To undertake imaging procedures within CT.
To maintain a high standard of work and strive for continual improvements in radiographic standards and patient care within the CT department.
To achieve high quality diagnostic images within the department using established protocols and procedures.
To participate in the Band 6 rota system including out of hours shift and on-call duties.
To assist in triaging workflow and patients by collaborating with colleagues to maximise departmental efficiency.
To delegate tasks to team members to manage workload.
