Job description

Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the post-holder will contribute to the safe and effective running of the imaging department and can perform a wide range of X-ray examinations to a high standard. The post holder will be rostered approximately 60% of their time in CT, with the remainder in rotation through ED, general X-ray, outpatient X-ray, paediatric X-ray, fluoroscopy, theatres, dental imaging, and possibly IR & MRI training. The role involves delivering a 24/7, 365 service with 12-hour shifts, supervision of junior staff, and managing patient flow to ensure timely imaging. The post holder will demonstrate professionalism, adhere to HCPC standards, and foster positive relationships with staff.
