Job summary
Norfolk and Norwich University NHS Foundation Trust is a large Acute Foundation Trust, renowned for providing a wide range of imaging services to a population of about 1 million people. To answer the population's needs, we've opened a new community diagnostic centre, allowing us to cater for the ever-growing demand. This will result in an improved environment for patient care, diagnosis and treatment.
The Trust is Head of the Clinical Research Network for the Eastern Region and has one of the three national Radiology Academies.

Applicants will contribute and work within the CT Team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of patient care. The post requires a flexible and enthusiastic radiographer to join our friendly team working 12.5-hour shifts, providing a 24/7 CT service.
Main duties of the jobThe QSI-accredited Radiology Department strives to provide patient-focused services within a framework of quality and innovation, and staff development. Our approach to service and staff development has an excellent and proven track record, attaining national awards for cardiac imaging.
The Computed Tomography (CT) Department has five scanners at the main site: Siemens Drive and Edge+, newly installed this year, Siemens Flash, a Siemens AS+, and GE Optima 660 Scanner: and 4 new Canon scanners at the CDC: 1 Aquilion One PRISM and 3 Aquilion SP providing imaging to the community. Working within CT provides opportunities to gain excellent experience in a wide range of CT equipment and imaging procedures, including trauma, MSK, neurological, vascular, perfusion scanning, paediatric, and oncology. Significant growth within interventional, therapeutic CT and cardiac imaging offers a wide scope for personal development.
