An established healthcare provider in the North East of England is seeking a motivated Radiographer with specialist experience in Computed Tomography. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Radiographer with specialist experience in Computed Tomography, including a minimum of one-year general x-ray experience, good communication skills, and a highly developed sense of patient care to join our friendly and progressive team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a committed professional with strong interpersonal skills to further develop their experience within a specialty role. The post holder will need excellent organisational and communication skills to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team and ensure Radiology continues to provide a high-quality service to all users.
The current shift pattern includes a mixture of long and short days, weekends, and nights, with some regular commitments to the general radiography team.
A flexible and forward-thinking approach is essential to meet the challenges of the evolving healthcare environment, focusing on 7-day working and achieving Imaging Services Accreditation.
The post holder will assist in delivering a high-quality service by performing clinical imaging duties, primarily in CT, and supporting the department in providing a timely radiographic service on a 24/7 basis.
Flexibility is key, as the Radiology Department is continuously adapting to provide services that meet local and national modernization agendas.
Based in the North East of England, our services include hospital and community health services at facilities such as Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Blaydon Urgent Care Centre, and Bensham Hospital, all within Gateshead.
