NHSGGC North-East Radiology is currently inviting applicants for a CT Modality Lead Radiographer based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary with a rotation to Stobhill ACH.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead CT Imaging Services. The successful candidate will work closely with the local management and clinical teams to develop and deliver a high quality patient focused service. Education and training are key elements of the department and the successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills to help deliver these.
You will be key to leading on the development and implementation of clinical and professional standards, whilst being passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The role will allow the successful candidate to build and extend their clinical expertise whilst also developing their management and leadership skills.
You will be responsible for management of the CT department, whilst acting as professional lead for the modality. Additional delegated management duties will also be required as we develop our wider Modality Lead team to support our staff and services.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with Higher Education providers to support an innovative learning environment for all undergraduate and post graduate students on placement whilst having a commitment to supporting and developing our own staff.
We currently have 4 CT scanners within the North East sector and this role will be fundamental in helping develop the service further.
