Job summary

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Diagnostic CT Clinical Specialist Radiographer (Band 7) for the Community Diagnostic Centre in Liverpool. You will lead the CT service, ensure safe, high-quality imaging, and work with radiologists and MDTs to optimise pathways and capacity.

The role requires HCPC registration, a CT-specific qualification, and a track record of leadership and service development to improve cancer diagnostics and patient care.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered radiographer with CT experience.
• Postgraduate CT qualification or equivalent knowledge.
• Leadership/management training completed.
• Familiar with oncologic imaging and clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day CT service operations and workflow.
• Supervise and develop CT radiography staff.
• Support protocol optimisation, quality improvement and governance.
• Collaborate with radiologists and MDT to optimise patient pathways.
