JOB VACANCY: CSCS Labourers Needed (6 Positions Available)

Location: Edinburgh - University Accommodation Site
Start Date: Monday, 21st July
Pay Rate: 12.50 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00/6:00 PM
Days: Monday to Friday

We are urgently seeking 6 hardworking CSCS Labourers for a physically demanding but rewarding project at a university accommodation site in Edinburgh. This short-term role is ideal for individuals who are fit, reliable, and ready to work as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lifting, carrying, and installing student furniture (beds, desks, wardrobes, chairs, etc.)
• Moving heavy items up 5-6 flights of stairs (no lift access)
• Setting up room layouts and making basic adjustments
• Unloading furniture deliveries and distributing items across floors
• Maintaining tidy work areas and disposing of packaging
• Supporting the site team and following all instructions and deadlines
• Complying with health and safety protocols on site

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card - Essential
• Physically fit and capable of repeated heavy lifting
• Previous CSCS Labourers experience preferred
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team player attitude
• PPE required: Steel toe cap boots and high-visibility clothing
