Clearfield Recruitment Limited is seeking a site-based helper to support construction teams on site, maintain safe and tidy working areas, and assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks.

You will prepare work areas, move materials, use hand and power tools safely, and follow site instructions and safety procedures. A CSCS card is required, and teamwork and reliability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• A valid CSCS card is required.
• Previous construction experience is useful.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools welcome; experience across every area is not required.
• Safety-conscious and reliable, with ability to work as part of a site team.

Responsabilités

• Prepare work areas, move materials and keep tools and walkways organised.

Job Summary

Support construction teams on site, helping maintain safe, tidy and efficient working areas. You'll assist skilled tradespeople with a range of tasks and follow site instructions and safety procedures.

Duties

• Prepare work areas, move materials and keep tools and walkways organised.


• Use hand tools and power tools safely when carrying out assigned tasks.


• Assist with general construction work, including carpentry, masonry, plastering and construction painting.


• Support tasks involving roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work and fabrication, as directed by qualified tradespeople.


• Follow schematics and instructions, and report hazards or issues to the site supervisor.

Experience

• A valid CSCS card is required.


• Previous construction experience is useful.


• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools or any of the listed trades is welcome; experience across every area is not required.


• A safety-conscious, reliable approach and willingness to work as part of a site team are essential
