Job summary

Force Recruitment are seeking General Operatives/Site Labourers for a 4-6 week contract in Bramford, Ipswich.

You will assist with site preparation, material handling, groundworks support, housekeeping, loading/unloading, and helping trades while working under the site team. A CSCS Card is required.

• General site labouring and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation — setting up work areas, barriers, signage and access routes.
• Material handling — moving tools, cables, components, pallets and other materials around site.
• Groundworks support — assisting with excavation, backfilling, ducting, concrete work or reinstatement.
• Housekeeping — keeping work areas clean, removing waste and maintaining safe walkways.
• Loading/unloading — assisting deliveries and positioning materials under the direction of the site team.
• Assisting trades — supporting electricians, fitters, civil contractors and other skilled workers.
• Temporary works — helping install/remove temporary fencing, protection, lighting or welfare facilities.
• Environmental controls — dealing with waste segregation, spill-control materials and keeping the site tidy.
• End-of-outage cleanup — clearing surplus materials and preparing the area for handover.
