Job summary

L.J.B & Co. Construction Recruitment in London seeks a CSA Construction Manager to lead Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages on a major mixed-use, life sciences and commercial project. You will partner with the Project Director, MEP teams, client, and design partners to deliver fully integrated site execution.

You will own CSA packages, supervise subcontractors, manage drawings and RFIs, and develop lookahead programmes to drive on-time delivery and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Construction Manager or CSA Manager
• Experience with a Tier 1 Main Contractor
• Experience delivering Mixed-Use, Life Sciences, Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Industrial projects
• Strong Civil/Structural/Architectural construction background
• Chartered status or working towards chartership desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages
• Coordinate CSA works with MEP activities for integrated site delivery
• Manage CSA subcontractors and design partners
• Own packages, forward plan and drive delivery against programme
• Coordinate site logistics and material deliveries
• Review drawings, specifications and design information
• Manage RFIs, queries and design coordination
• Produce short-term lookahead programmes and monitor progress
• Coordinate construction sequencing and issue resolution
• Carry out quality inspections, snagging and defect close-out
• Ensure RAMS, QA documentation and project records are maintained
• Coordinate with client, design team, project management, subcontractors and suppliers
• Work with Quantity Surveyor on CSA cost and commercial matters
• Support commissioning, handover, O&M documentation and close-out
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and health & safety standards
