Job description

As the CS Business Controller, you will be working in an international EMEA environment with a direct report to the EMEA CS Finance Director. In this position, you will be a key partner to the Market Leaders of the EMEA Customer Service Business Unit and play a vital role in supporting them with accurate tracking and processing of all financial transactions within their units.

For this opportunity, we’re looking for someone who can translate business strategy into plans, establish measurable targets, evaluate the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identify risks, and recommend actions.

You will have experience in a similar financial controlling role within an international organisation, fostering a collaborative and solutions-focused approach to financial business planning. The opportunity is available from both our Adderbury or Stockport offices with hybrid working flexibility available.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the business planning and forecasting process.

  • Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines/procedures and external regulatory requirements.

  • Performing financial analysis, reporting to business managers and making suggestions to improve performance.

  • Establishing and overseeing processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.

  • Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant Controllers, Shared Service Centre and others to identify and discuss issues, and suggest improvements.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Ideally educated to a degree level in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or another relevant field of study.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar financial controlling role within a multinational business environment.

  • Strong focus on compliance, governance and procedures both internal and external.

  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Availability and willingness to travel for business up to 5% of the year.

  • Demonstrates proactivity, teamwork skills, problem-solving solving and result orientation.
