Job summary

Barclays seeks a Cryptography Operations Technician to join our global Cryptography team within the Chief Information Security Office. You will monitor and maintain cryptographic assets and technologies, supporting Secure Key Management, HSMs, PKI, and application cryptography across Barclays Group.

The role emphasizes BAU support, incident response, and on-call coverage. Based at Radbroke Hall, Knutsford, you will collaborate with security, IT and business stakeholders while advancing

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change Management, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Experience managing Major Incidents (MIM), including leading triage sessions.
• Background in operational IT Infrastructure, process creation, service delivery and monitoring.
• Unix and Windows operating system knowledge.
• Knowledge of Cryptography and Information Security.

Responsibilities

• Manage cryptographic assets across use cases, ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Perform security assessments and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor cryptographic solutions across banking applications to meet standards.
• Develop training content on cryptographic concepts and security procedures.
• Manage service delivery for cryptography solutions, including incident, problem and change management.
