Job summary
Oxford Knight seeks a highly proactive engineer with an IT operations background to join its crypto division and help shape the future of the industry.
You will monitor and support trading system applications and exchanges, building and maintaining a DevOps toolkit, collaborating with traders and developers, and handling daily deployments across a global footprint. A 3+ year IT ops background and C++/Python skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an IT ops role (DevOps, Linux Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, etc.)
- C++ knowledge required
- Fluency in Python and shell scripting
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Systematic, analytical approach to problem solving
- Crypto markets experience
- Familiarity with networking concepts, e.g. routing, multicast, LLDP, VLAN tagging, ethernet
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a DevOps toolkit for production trading system (config + process management, deployment, monitoring, data collection, & analysis)
- Interact directly with traders & developers, collaborating on technology changes, managing incidents, and troubleshooting problems
- Handle daily software deployments and configuration changes to a complex, global hardware and software footprint
