B2C2 is hiring a Market Making Trader to operate and expand our centralised exchange quoting. You will manage automated strategies, monitor risk and inventory in real time, and work with quants and developers to improve pricing, execution and profitability.

This high-impact role requires a numerical degree and several years in market making or systematic trading, with strong Python/SQL skills and a keen eye for risk and market structure.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in a numerical degree, with strong grades.
• 3+ years as a market maker or systematic/electronic trader, in crypto or traditional markets.
• Strong grasp of market microstructure: order books, queue dynamics, adverse selection, latency and fees.
• Good knowledge of perpetual futures, funding rates, basis and margin mechanics.
• Solid programming and data skills, ideally Python and SQL, for analysis and tooling.
• Hands-on experience running automated quoting strategies and tuning their parameters.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a natural intuition for risk, pricing, and how crypto markets function.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment at the cutting edge of trading and technology within the industry.
• Excellent teamwork and clear communication skills and ability to express ideas.
• Calm, quick decision-making under pressure, with sound risk discipline.
• Willing to work flexible hours as part of a 24/7 coverage model.

Aufgaben

• Manage and optimise the strategies used to make markets on crypto exchanges
• Responsible for the PL of team and individual strategies
• Develop and improve the models and strategies using quantitative methods
• Collaborate with Quant Dev and Research during the full lifecycle of alpha and signals development and deployment
• Conduct research and data analysis on bespoke trading data
• Run automated market making strategies on centralised exchanges
• Set and adjust quoting parameters such as spreads, sizes, skew and inventory limits in response to volatility, liquidity and flow
• Spot new opportunities: listings, new venues, instruments and fee or rebate programmes.
• Monitor positions, inventory, exposures and margin across venues in real time, and hedge where needed
• Support disciplined intra-day risk management and reporting
• Analyse fill quality, adverse selection, queue position and markouts to improve strategy performance
• Collaborate with quants and developers on new features, pricing models and latency improvements; test and roll them out safely
• Evaluate venue economics, including fee tiers, maker rebates, liquidity programmes and API limits
