Job summary

Air Products in Worcester is seeking a Workshop Technician to refurbish, modify and test equipment for customer installations. You will process Work Orders, prepare cryogenic storage tanks and pipework, perform mechanical installation, testing and refurbishment, and ensure accurate documentation.

The role involves organizing bench Kanban, extracting parts, and supporting oxygen cleaning and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical engineering experience including pipework, fitting, pneumatics, fabrication, welding, soldering, brazing.
• Basic understanding of pressure vessels and safety devices.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Work Order equipment for Worcester Workshop.
• Prepare Cryogenic Storage Tanks and pipework for customer orders.
• Assemble and refurbish nitrogen generators, compressors and related equipment.
• Record paperwork and maintain accurate logs.
• Assist with maintenance tasks and investigations into failures.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement events and reporting.
