Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Entertainment New Build, to support the program development, vessel delivery and operational readiness of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ships. Based in London, the role is four days in the office with one day remote and entails travel.

You will lead strategic analysis, coordinate with WDI, DCL Entertainment Operations and partners, and steer the shows and venues for successful ship activation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Entertainment Management, Maritime Studies, Project Management or comparable experience.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in cruise line operations.
• Experience supporting new build, commissioning, launch, dry dock or major operational transformation projects.
• Confidence collaborating with design, construction, or imagineering teams throughout a project lifecycle.
• Highly motivated self-starter able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to initiate, organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Drives program development for new shipbuilding projects, including guest venue requirements and validation, back of house space needs, crewing and circulation.
• Ensures program requirements are integrated into the General Arrangement at each stage, liaising between WDI & DCL Entertainment Operations.
• Develops the primary Entertainment program outlining shows, venues, and itineraries to activate the ship for guests.
• Leads the Client Request process between Entertainment Operations and Disney Live Entertainment to define shows to be produced.
• Liaises with Entertainment Operations to gather feedback for design evolutions and progress reporting.
• Develops and manages OFE lists to support ship opening across Entertainment areas with partnering input.
• Coordinates operational readiness efforts, including crew training, costuming, logistics for embarkation, and venue turnover.
• Provides leadership to the New Build VCT Cruise Director during commissioning and opening phases.
• Supports Dry Dock projects in similar scope as New Build.
