Job Description:

Protocol Education is recruiting teaching assistants for a state-of-the-art special needs school in Croydon, starting immediately or from September 2025. The school offers opportunities to work with students of all ages, including early years, primary, and secondary levels, with ongoing training provided.

We seek individuals passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their learning and development. No prior experience is required; however, commitment, passion, and dedication are essential. The role involves working in small classes of 6-8 students with needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex needs. Responsibilities include supporting students with tailored curricula, developing speech and language skills, teaching vocabulary and comprehension using visual resources, assisting in core subjects like numeracy and literacy, and supporting creative activities such as art, music, swimming, cooking, K9 therapy, and sensory play.

  • Monday to Friday
