Protocol Education is recruiting teaching assistants to work in a highly developed special needs school in Croydon, starting September 2025. The school welcomes applicants with or without experience to work with small classes of 6-8 students diagnosed with autism. Trainee support and training will be provided throughout the role.
Key attributes include initiative, patience, positivity, and teamwork. The role involves supporting students to achieve their developmental targets through one-to-one assistance, focusing on communication, social interactions, sensory management, and community integration. Activities include lessons in numeracy, literacy, music, P.E., swimming, art, food tech, sensory play, K9 therapy, and physiotherapy, tailored to individual needs.
