Job summary

The post is cross-site between Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley Hospital. The core hours are 7.5 hours per day, with weekend and bank holiday work on a rota basis. Salary is £25,272 per annum, pro rata for part-time workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective medicine supply service to wards/departments and patients of the Trust
• Stock control, stock rotation, expiry date checking and use of the Pharmacy IT System
• Provide an effective reception service, handling inquiries
• Maintain dispensing sundries stock and housekeeping standards
• Support training and development of pharmacy team
