MRI Radiographer with Interest In Cardiac MRI

Manchester Diagnostic Suite / Manchester Institute for Health & Performance (Cross Site Working) | Radiology | Permanent | Full Time

Up to £43,750 per annum, depending on experience (Band 6 equivalent)

37.5 hours per week

As a Radiographer at our Manchester Diagnostic Suite, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification, and excellent teamwork skills.

As an MRI Cross Sectional Radiographer, you will:

• Support MRI
• Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service
• Experience a varied caseload in the department
• Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment, and facilities
• Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues
• Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Applicant Essential:

• Proficient in all aspects of MRI
• Cannulation certified
• Able to work as part of a team and under self-leadership
• Ability to prioritize caseload

Applicant Desirable:

• Philips MRI proficient
• Interest in Cardiac MRI
• Minimum of 2 years experience in MRI
