Cross-Sectional Imaging Radiographer (Senior)

Job Description: Cross-Sectional Imaging Radiographer (Senior) - Leeds | Radiology | Permanent | Full Time | Competitive salary (Equivalent to AFC band 6) | 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, including Cardiac MRI.
• Work with leading practitioners and experience new practices, equipment, and facilities.
• Supervise and develop junior staff members.
• Provide a service of the highest quality, with sensitivity and compassion.
• Provide an out-of-hours CT on-call service.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• High levels of technical knowledge with accuracy and attention to detail.
• A caring nature, with understanding and empathy for each patient.
• BSc degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent, meeting HCPC registration requirements.
• Postgraduate qualification in CT or MRI is desirable but not essential.
• Post-registration relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
