Cross-Sectional Imaging Radiographer (Senior)

Leeds | Radiology | Permanent | Full Time

Competitive salary (Equivalent to AFC Band 6)

37.5 hours per week

Our radiology team in our Leeds Hospital currently have an opportunity for an experienced MRI/CT Radiographer. Start your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.

  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload, to include Cardiac MRI

  • Working with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment and facilities.

  • Supervising and developing more junior staff members.

  • Providing a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

  • Provide an out-of-hours CT on-call service

The Person

To succeed as an MRI/CT Radiographer you will have;

  • High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.

  • A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.

  • A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

  • Ideally a postgraduate qualification in CT or MRI, but not essential.

  • Post registration experience relevant to the role.

  • Excellent communication and team working abilities.
