Job summary

Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Band 6 Radiographers to join the Cross Sectional Team. The role covers CT and MRI duties across multiple sites, including evenings and night shifts.

The post requires experience in MRI/CT, NHS service knowledge, and active CPD. Training is provided for interchange between MRI and CT, with opportunities to contribute to service development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience across MRI and/or CT procedures.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and knowledge of current CT/MRI advances.
• Recent NHS experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging primarily in CT and MRI.
• Rotate between MRI and CT after training, with flexibility across sites.
• Participate in CT night rotation and out-of-hours standby.
• Work across 7 days and multiple sites, including nights.
• Provide leadership and training to junior staff.
