BMT Group Ltd is seeking a Cross Capability Consultant to support engineering and program delivery across sites with hybrid working options. The role involves data extraction, technical documentation and collaboration with Project Managers and Technical Leads to align with customer expectations.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and knowledge of MOD or industry documentation practices, with experience as an Armed Forces leaver (NCO or Junior Officer) being advantageous.

We work in a team model, often across sites, so the ability to work well in a team environment and convey information effectively is important. The role is based in our Weymouth, Bath or Fareham offices however BMT do employ hybrid working. The role is for full-time hours., We are seeking individuals who are passionate about addressing these global challenges and are proactive in finding opportunities to integrate sustainable practices as part their role. As a Cross Capability Consultant, you would bring with you experience of working in an engineering supportability role with experience and knowledge in some of the following areas; logistical support, technical documentation, obsolescence, reliability and human factors. This role will see you switch between these areas to match your skills but also to provide variety of work and call upon your own engineering experiences and broaden them too. The ideal candidate would have experience of the UK MOD or industry. This role would suit a recent, or soon to be Armed Forces leaver at NCO or Junior Officer level. Experience of working MOD Abbey Wood or an HQ equivalent would be beneficial but not essential., As a Cross Capability Consultant, you will be able to manipulate data bases to extract and create data, MS Word and Excel with a good level of English and an attention to detail. Experience of MOD and Industry documentation and practices along with an engineering background will be a good underpinning for this position.
