Qualifications
- PhD or BSc in Plant Biology or Biotechnology is required.
- Hands-on experience in crop tissue culture and genetic transformation is essential.
- Proficiency in DNA vector design, molecular cloning and high-throughput molecular analysis of transgenic plants.
- Strong communication skills to translate findings to ML engineers and bioinformaticians.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex experiments for gene target validation in planta.
- Establish and optimize transformation and genome editing methods.
- Conduct high-throughput genotyping and assemble DNA constructs for edited lines.
