About the role:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CRM Marketing Executive to support our customer marketing efforts. In this role, you'll help manage and deliver email campaigns, maintain customer data and support wider CRM activities to improve customer engagement and retention across our racecourses.
Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and sending of email campaigns, ensuring content is accurate and on brand
Help build and manage customer lists and segments based on behaviour, preferences, and demographics
Support the setup of automated email journeys (e.g. welcome emails, post-event follow-ups, re-engagement emails)
Monitor and report on key email metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and unsubscribes
Assist with A/B testing of email subject lines, content and layouts to improve performance
Work with the wider marketing team to make sure emails are aligned with campaign goals and timelines
Help keep the CRM database up to date and ensure customer data is accurate and clean
Learn and follow best practices around data protection and GDPR compliance
Stay up to date with CRM and email marketing trends and tools
The person we are looking for as a CRM Marketing Executive has…..
Some experience in a marketing or CRM-related role (internships or placements welcome)
Basic understanding of email marketing and customer communications
Familiarity with email platforms (e.g, Dotdigital, Braze, Salesforce or similar) is a plus
Comfortable working with Excel
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Willingness to learn and develop CRM and data skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
