As CRM Email Marketing Executive, you'll take charge of planning, executing, and optimising email and SMS campaigns to enhance our customer experience. From service reminders to promotional offers and aftersales communications, you’ll play a key role in nurturing and retaining our customer base across the TrustFord network.

This role would suit a self-motivated and enthusiastic email marketeer, whose ambition is to work in a fast-paced email marketing role, in the retail arena.
Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and execute targeted email campaigns for sales, service, and aftersales
- Segment customer data based on vehicle history, service schedules, and purchase behaviours
- Manage and improve automated workflows such as MOT reminders, service follow-ups, and re-engagement emails
- Conduct A/B testing to improve open rates, CTR, and conversions
- Monitor key KPIs and produce actionable reports for campaign optimisation
- Ensure email communications are fully compliant with GDPR regulations
- Work closely with the CRM Team, Marketing, and Sales/Aftersales Operations to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy, support the Marketing team in the implementation and communication of tactical activity as required.
- Be the initial recipient of email and SMS requests that come through either by and liaise with the Marketing team to communicate proposals within the internal team.
- Take responsibility for the measurement if email/SMS activities, keeping colleagues informed of progress, completion and post activity evaluation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailoring all communications to the target audience, using the appropriate language and TrustFord tone of voice.
- Experience working in or with the motor trade, automotive retail, or dealership marketing is highly desirable
- Proficient with email marketing tools (e.g. Campaigner, Mailchimp, Salesforce, or similar platforms)
- Strong understanding of data segmentation, automation, and campaign personalisation
- Analytical mindset with experience in reporting on CRM performance
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email design is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Sound knowledge of GDPR and data compliance regulations in the UK
- IT skills – including confident handling of Excel spread-sheets and Microsoft Word
- Experience of proof reading with meticulous attention to detail on proposed content for both email and SMS execution, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
- The ability to manage time effectively to minimise inefficiency, maximise productivity and ensure cost efficiencies where possible.
- The ability to work confidently within a very busy team, some of whom will frequently be working remotely.
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Experience with automotive CRM platforms such as Keyloop, Pinewood, or Dealerweb
- Knowledge of the UK automotive sales and aftersales customer journey
- Interest in automotive technology and mobility trends
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a CRM or email marketing role
- Degree level education or a recognised qualification in marketing
- Fluent written and spoken English
This is a Hybrid role working on site and also from home (the first 3 months during probation will be worked from the office full time, you will then move on to hybrid working from month 4).
