Skills & Experience:- A minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above (inc. English and Maths) or proven equivalent work experience
- A level two NVQ in customer service or relevant experience
- A minimum of one years relevant work experience (in general administration / updating systems)
- Experience of providing support to colleagues, other officers and members of the public
- Experience of working as part of an effective team
- Have excellent communication skills, ensuring colleagues are updated when handing over workloads
- Ability to prioritise tasks and plan / schedule own workload driven by both customer need and service SLAs
- Have attention to detail / accuracy when updating records relied on by colleagues and customers
Desirable:- Experience of working in local Government and Councillors would be advantageous
What's involved with this role:Your role is to ensure that CSC and customer reports through the CRM system (Firmstep) are processed efficiently and effectively. You will proactively monitor and update W&R records across various systems to maintain accuracy and consistency.Key duties:- Handle enquiries from customers, Councillors, and the public regarding W&R services, resolving issues at the first point of contact whenever possible, and minimizing escalations.
- Investigate and process Firmstep reports, utilizing previous data and Bartec events, while keeping customers informed and ensuring Firmstep records are accurately maintained with effective housekeeping practices.
- Monitor EH&HS systems for fly-tipping cases, allocate tasks to appropriate staff, track progress, and review and sign off cases weekly.
- Collaborate with supervisors to address concerns raised by Firmstep reports, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and escalating matters to your line manager when necessary.
- Work closely with supervisors and the Bartec Administration Officer to resolve service failures, missed collections, and update relevant databases, ensuring all information is accurate and current. Serve as the primary contact for CSC/W&R colleagues on Firmstep-related queries.
