Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) (On-site, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex, critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will conduct planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 days on, 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is beneficial.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work 4 on, 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies and Lates
