Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts dedicated to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical work that supports the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for tasks and updates

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability for 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
