Job summary

AJ Group Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor in London to lead technicians and contractor teams supporting critical facilities. You will oversee planned, reactive and emergency maintenance while coordinating shutdowns and ensuring RAMS, permits to work and statutory compliance are rigorously followed.

Experience in laboratory or medical research environments and familiarity with HTM 03 are essential to ensure safety and reliability of critical services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising maintenance teams and contractors.
• Strong mechanical building services and fault-finding expertise.
• Relevant apprenticeship and technical qualification, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Experience managing RAMS, permits to work and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians and specialist contractors to deliver maintenance on critical facilities.
• Oversee planned, reactive and emergency maintenance programmes.
• Coordinate shutdowns with operations to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance and that critical building services remain safe and operational.
