Job summary

TDA Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high‑profile commercial critical environment at Angel Court, London. You will maintain and operate critical building services on a 4-on, 4-off day shift (07:00–19:00), handling planned and reactive maintenance and ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires strong fault-finding expertise, LV distribution knowledge, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a commercial building electrical environment.
18th Edition and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
Strong knowledge of LV distribution, plant and building services.
Client-facing experience and good communication.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across the site.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently.
Maintain LV distribution, switchgear and lighting systems.
Carry out electrical isolations in line with site procedures.
Respond to alarms, breakdowns and building services issues.
Support planned shutdowns, testing and maintenance activities.
Complete maintenance records and update the CAFM system.
Work with the wider engineering team and specialist contractors.
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and electrical regulations.
Participate in the 1 week in 4 call-out rota.
