Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Critical Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Critical Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market-leading opportunities for talented professionals seeking long-term career progression.

As the Critical Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Undertaking routine PPM tasks, planned maintenance in line with scheduled dates, along with reactive repairs required.
  2. Developing operational strategies and implementation processes to ensure compliance and success of critical services.
  3. Covering M&E, general maintenance, and soft services.
  4. Working in accordance with high levels of health and safety and statutory requirements, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks.
  5. Assisting with general building maintenance activities as needed.
  6. Collaborating closely with supporting mobile engineers.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience working within a critical environment.
  • Ideally, completed an electrical apprenticeship and/or hold City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • High Voltage or Low Voltage knowledge (Desirable).
