Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a permanent Staff Nurse – Critical Care at Wexham Park Critical Care Unit (Levels 1–3). You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.

The unit provides advanced therapies and a strong education programme to support professional development; under supervision, you will monitor, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, ensuring patient safety and family

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current practice in critical care.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity setting.
• Commitment to education and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients across Levels 1–3.
• Monitor, assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.
• Safely manage complex monitoring equipment, IV infusions and ventilatory support systems.
• Coordinate and deliver nursing care, working with patients, families and the wider team.
