A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Adult Critical Care Outreach Team at North Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, based at the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven

The Critical Care Outreach Team provides a diverse and comprehensive CCOT service to all adult patients within NCIC which includes specialties such as Cardiology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Vascular and Renal, as well as general medicine and surgery.

We expect to recruit a positive, forward thinking individual who is motivated, can motivate others and manage the needs of the service, with experience at band 6 level or above. CCOT is a friendly and forward thinking team committed to pursuing excellence in both clinical, teaching and audit settings.

Main duties of the job

Management and support of critically ill patients requiring more advanced monitoring or the support required for high dependency level 2 and intensive care level 3 patients, including cardio vascular, respiratory, acute renal failure, neurological and paediatric emergency admissions. Critical care outreach provides a service to improve care at ward level.
