A national mental health charity is seeking a Crisis Service Manager to lead their operations in East Kent. The role involves providing quality crisis services, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting clients with mental health and other needs. Job Title: Crisis service manager
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, working 9am-5pm, with flexibility to support services that operate 24 hours a day.
Salary: £38,397 with progression to £42,723 per annum
Location: Home based, with expectation of travel within the Kent and Medway area.
We have an exciting and new opportunity for a Crisis Service Manager to join our growing East Kent team. This role is supporting operations, working with teams across East Kent. The Kent safe havens are an out of hours crisis alternative to Accident and Emergency for individuals facing crisis or heading towards a mental health crisis. The purpose of the role is to provide leadership and management to deliver high quality, safe and effective Crisis services in support of the organisation's mission, values and strategy. You will be ensuring the team are responsive to the needs of people in an honest, non-judgemental and open manner which respects the rights of individuals and groups. Work will include promoting the profile and reputation of MHM by building and maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including relevant professional networks and individuals who access our services, and keeping up to date with best practice in the field. We are looking for experienced, compassionate and organised person to work with team to focus support to our clients who have a range of mental health needs as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion.
