Overview

A fantastic locum opportunity for skilled Outreach workers who have frontline experience supporting rough sleepers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrable experience of working directly with rough sleepers (e.g., in outreach, day centres or similar services)

• Ability to deal flexibly with a broad range of clients, and with challenging behaviour

Contract & Pay

Contract: Casual worker in December 2025 - a minimum of three shifts, 8-hour shifts with half an hour break, between Tuesday 24 Dec and Saturday 28 Dec 2025

Pay: £20 per hour over three 8-hour shifts (£30 per hour on Bank Holidays - 25 and 26 December). Shifts will be 9am - 6pm and Day Centre Outreach workers must commit to a minimum of 3 shifts to be accepted into the role.

You will also accrue annual leave during this work, calculated according to statutory guidelines and paid in your final payslip. Holiday entitlement is calculated as 12.07% of actual hours worked and equates to approximately £3.80 per hour for bank holidays worked and £2.40 per hour for non-bank holiday work.
