A leading charity in Essex is looking for a dedicated Criminal Justice Interventions Worker to provide support to individuals in prison or on probation. This field-based role offers paid travel across various sites and focuses on resettlement and rehabilitation. You'll usually be based at the nearest site to you, but may travel across the region when needed, and all travel is paid.
The sites are: HMP Chelmsford, Basildon, Harlow, Southend-on-Sea, and possibly Colchester depending on service needs.
The support you provide will focus on resettlement and rehabilitation, helping people access housing, prepare for employment, set goals, and take positive steps forward.
This role could suit someone with experience in probation, housing, resettlement, employment support, or simply someone passionate about second chances.
