We are working with a well-established regional law firm who are seeking a Criminal Solicitor to join their growing team in Somerset. • Advising and representing clients in all aspects of criminal law, including police station representation, Magistrates’ Court, and Crown Court cases.

• Managing a varied caseload, from minor offences to more complex, high-profile matters.

• Preparing cases, analysing evidence, and developing robust defence strategies.

• Liaising with clients, prosecutors, and third parties, ensuring excellent communication and client care.

• Working on Legal Aid funded matters, including representation in Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.

• Supporting the team in continuing to deliver its strong track record of client-focused, high-quality legal services.

About You

• Qualified solicitor with any level of PQE (newly qualified to experienced).

• Strong knowledge of criminal law and procedure, with the ability to handle a varied caseload.
