CRIMINAL SOLICITOR 4+ PQE, West Midlands, £40,000 - £50,000. An opportunity for an experienced Criminal Defence Solicitor to manage complex and high-profile cases within a well-regarded firm, with clear progression.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• The role is suited to an experienced solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in criminal defence law
• The firm undertakes a mix of legal aid and privately funded criminal matters
• You will manage a varied and challenging caseload, including serious and complex offences such as road traffic matters, assault, drug offences, fraud, and homicide
• You will be required to manage your own caseload efficiently and provide high-quality client service
• Police Station Accreditation is essential, along with a willingness to participate in the duty solicitor rota
• Strong advocacy skills with experience in both the Magistrates' and Crown Court will be highly valued
