Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing a caseload of criminal defence matters
  • Prepare case files, draft legal documents and liaise with clients and counsel
  • Support solicitors with representation at police stations and Magistrates’ Court (where applicable)
  • Attend client meetings and take statements
  • Ensure accurate case management and documentation
  • Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high standards of client care
  • Assist with business development and client engagement activities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working as a paralegal in criminal law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Confidence in dealing with clients and professionals at all levels
  • A proactive, flexible and team-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with legal software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Police Station Accreditation (desirable but not essential)
