The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of criminal and prosecution matters, combining court advocacy with advisory work on complex and sensitive issues for a broad range of clients. This is a unique opportunity to build expertise in prosecutorial work, including reviewing evidence and case files, making informed charging decisions, and preparing and presenting cases to support the pursuit of justice for victims.
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Barristers that currently hold a valid practising certificate in England and Wales, and have resided in the UK for at least five years. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to deliver well-reasoned judgments and strong decision-making skills. Ideally, candidates will have at least 2 years' prior experience in criminal law or regulatory prosecutions and be passionate about their work.
You will receive comprehensive induction training, mentoring, and on-the-job support to facilitate a smooth transition into your new role in prosecutions. Additionally, the position offers a competitive benefits package and the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week.
